Sejara Perkembangan Adobe Premier
            Adobe Premiere adalah salah satu apllikasi program Video Editing yang dikembangkan sendiri oleh Adobe. Program ini sering dipakai oleh rumah – rumah produksi, televise dan berbagai bidanng yang sekiranya perlu melakukakn editing video. Keuntungannya sendiri ialah mudah di pelajari dan dalam waktu singkat pun teman – teman sudah mengerti atau faham untuk menggunakan berbagai fitur yang ada di dalamnya.

Berikut perkembangan dari Adobe Premier sendiri
  • Adobe Premiere Versi 1 / Adobe Premiere 1.0

Dirilis pada tahun 1991 bulan Desember. Dengan platform OS masih Apple Mac, belum memasuki ke OS Windows. Berikut Fiturnya :
  1.  First release of Premiere
  2. QuickTime multimedia and VideoSpigot format support
  3.  PICT image support
  4. Supported up to 160 x 120 pixels movie creation
  5. Supported 8-bit audio
  6. Supported output to video tape
  • Adobe Premiere Versi 2 / Adobe premiere 2.0

Dirilis tahun 1992 bulan September. Masih belum menggunakan OS windows. Berikut Fiturnya :

Yang di release pada agustus tahun 1993. Dengan platform OS masih Apple Mac, Belum Windows, Beberapa Fitur perkembangannya seperti ini:

Yang di release pada September tahun 1993. Dengan platform OS Windows pertama, Beberapa Fitur perkembangannya seperti ini:

Yang di release pada Mei 1998. Dengan platform OS Mac dan Windows,dan waktu inilah pengembangan Adobe Premiere di Fokuskan untuk kedua platform OS ini. Beberapa Fitur perkembangannya seperti ini:

Yang di release pada 21 Agustus 2003. Dengan platform Windows, Untuk Platform Mac di Hentikan dulu sementara, dan mulai waktu inilah perkembangan Adobe Premiere sebagai Software Editing meningkat tajam. Banyak orang biasa menyebutnya Adobe Premiere 7.0. Beberapa Fitur perkembangannya seperti ini:

Selang beberapa waktu tepannya 1 maret 2005, Adobe Premiere 1.5.1 di release dengan penambahan fitur HDV Support.

Yang di release pada 17 Januari 2006. Dengan platform Windows.  Setelah itu versi Pro berakhir, karena pengembangannya mulai dikembangkan dengan Mac OSX juga. Beberapa Fitur perkembangannya seperti ini:

Selang beberapa waktu, diluncurkannya Pengembangan Adobe Premiere CS3, yaitu Adobe Premiere CS 3.1.0 yang di release pada 18 Oktober 2007 dengan penambahan fitur"Native Panasonic P2 MXFimport, editing, and export"

  • Adobe Premiere CS 3.1.1 yang di release pada 14 April 2008 dengan penambahan fitur"Native Sony XDCAM MXFimport and editing".
  • Adobe Premiere Versi CS4.0/ Adobe premiere CS4.0

Yang di release pada 23 September 2008. Dengan platform Windows dan Mac OSX. Beberapa Fitur perkembangannya seperti ini:
  1. Speech Search
  2. Batch encoding using Adobe Media Encoder
