During this summer holiday, Ridwan, Taufik, Refky, Gupron, Haikal, and I decided to go to the city of Wonosobo, Central Java, a place that is very popular as a tourist site. Wonosobo is famous for its "all cool weather thing-y", cold temperatures, and cool climate that is the hallmark of this city. We visited several tourist sites that we had previously planned.

Telaga Warna

First there is a lake of color (Danau Warna), a place with a view of a calm lake with a green surface surrounded by shady trees combined with reflections of sunlight that will refract the color of a lake that is interesting.

Dieng

Then there is Dieng, it is incomplete if going to Wonosobo without visiting the Dieng Plateau tourist area. Dieng is a hits tourist destination for tourists.

Sikarim dan Winong Kaliwiro

Wonosobo also has several waterfalls, there are Sikarim waterfalls and Winong Kaliwiro waterfalls.

And that's for the summer, as for cloudy, cold, winter-like season (Wonosobo as in Indonesia, does not have 4 seasons like in Europe or US), it's recommended to go to Wonosobo Town Square.  There are various kinds of Wonosobo's snacks around the square.

Gunung Prau

And for those who like hiking there is a Mount Prau, yes mount prau is not as high as other mountains, but Mount Prau has a view that is no less attractive. Mount Prau has a special moment called "The Golden Sunrise".

Mie Ongklok

Enjoying the tour in Wonosobo is incomplete if we don't taste the culinary. Ongklok noodles are our target, because these Ongklok noodles are made from noodles, cabbages, chives and mixed with starched thick peanut sauce and come with a very affordable price.

Carica Dieng

Carica is another Wonosobo's signature dish, called Carica Dieng. Carica Dieng is a kind of papaya that is claimed to only grow in the Dieng plateau. After we enjoyed the culinary of Wonosobo, we were looking for lodging around Dieng. We asked residents to find lodging around Dieng, the residents told us that at the foot of Mt. Prau there were several accommodations that suitable for us with a student budget.

In conclusion, this Wonosobo city is perfect for you - a tourist - who enjoys traveling - especially - in the summer. A very beautiful tour, delicious culinary with its trademark, and not spending a lot of budget, we as students with a modest budget happy and super satisfied traveling to the city of Wonosobo.
